PORTULACA
Great In Containers ! Wonderful drought tolerance of this low growing annual flower.
Moss Rose, also known as Portulaca, is a low growing annual that puts out a lovely rainbow of colors including red, pink, yellow, white, and purple. Often used as a groundcover, they're common in rock gardens, containers, flower beds, and walkways.
Grow Portulaca:ย Full Sun. Plants tolerate heat and drought, look best with occasional water. Low maintenance, no deadheading required. Any soil with good drainage, will thrive in sandy or gravelly soils. Cut back in summer to keep plants neat, and to extend bloom into fall.
