When planting the Dahlia Decorative, choose well-draining soil in a sunny location. This will allow for consistent blooming throughout the summer and fall. In cooler zones, the plant can be dug up and replanted in the spring after being stored during the winter. To maintain optimal growth, ensure consistent moisture levels and remove spent blooms. For those desiring larger flowers, pinching off small side buds is recommended.
