Snowdrops will prosper in most types of well drained soil, and do well in woodlands, among grass, in beds and borders, and can be grown successfully in pots in a cold room or greenhouse.

Snowdrop bulbs, Galanthus woronowii, are perennials that return each year, blossoming in graceful masses of white flowers to enhance any garden..

Snowdrops are excellent for naturalizing in woodland areas, rock gardens, or under deciduous trees. They thrive in partial shade, adding a beauty touch to even the most challenging garden environments.

 Snowdrops grow to an average height of 4-6 inches, making them perfect for both garden beds and containers. They require minimal maintenance and are excellent for beginner and expert gardeners alike.

 If you can't wait for spring to enjoy Snowdrops, you can force them to bloom indoors during the winter. Place the bulbs in pots, keep them in a cool, dark place for about 8-12 weeks, and then bring them into a warmer, well-lit room to enjoy their early blossoms.

A very hardy clump forming perennial with grass like green/grey leaves and single bell shaped scented flowers the first flower of the new year in the northern hemisphere. Snowdrops self seed. In full sun, it will survive but not increase well, it prefers moist but well drained woodland shade. 'Galanthus Woronowii' is a giant white snowdrop with green markings. It’s beautiful nodding scented flower heads appear late winter.

Plant at least 5cm deep and 5cm apart in the Autumn and watch as they will appear as early as February.
