String of Pearls is a unique and beautiful succulent that is valued for its distinctive appearance.

The String Of Pearls succulent, scientifically known as Curio Rowleyanus, is a perennial plant that originates from South Africa. Its trailing stems can reach lengths of 12-36 inches and feature round green leaves, making it a popular choice for hanging baskets and containers. In the summer, this plant produces fluffy white flowers with striking red and yellow stamens. Whether used as a houseplant or in outdoor containers,

String-of-Pearls adds a stunning touch to any space. It thrives in partial sun or bright indirect light and requires well-draining soil and minimal watering. In colder climates, it is recommended to bring outdoor containers indoors during the winter.

  • Water when on the dry side
  • Prefers bright, indirect light or filtered window light
  • Trim as needed
  • Soil: Should be loose and porous like a cactus soil

This succulent thrives in partial sun or bright indirect light, preferring well-draining soil and minimal watering. It can also be grown indoors as a stunning houseplant or added to frost-free xeriscapes for ornamental purposes. In colder climates, bring outdoor containers inside during the winter for protection.

  1. We recommend planting 4-5 starter plants per 10 inch basket. Use a well-drained soil in your baskets and plant your starter plants deep, allowing the elpot to be completely covered by the soil. If you are planting 4" pots, 1 plant per pot should be sufficient. Plant it directly in the middle of your pot.
  2. Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep soil moist, watering freely in dry weather. Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. Trim back as needed to keep neat and compact.
