Size: 1 PLANT

Lantana 'Trailing Lavender' is a lovely, heat-tolerant, fast-growing annual with purple flowers that attract butterflies. It has a cascading and spreading habit, making it ideal for pots, containers, and ground covers.

Lantanas prefer a semi tropical climate with lots of sunshine. Perennial in hot, humid climates, Lantanas tend to be annual in more Northern zones. Lantana 'Trailing Purple' plants are easily grown in average, medium moisture, well-drained soils in full sun. Plants tolerate part shade, but best flowering is in full sun. Plants thrive in lean, sandy, slightly-dry soils.
container Planting
  1. For optimal results, it is advised to plant 5 starter plants in a 10 inch basket. Utilize well-drained soil in the baskets and plant the starters deep, ensuring that the ellepot is fully submerged in the soil. Alternatively, if using 4” pots, 1 plant per pot should suffice. Place the plant in the center of the pot for best results.
  2. Pinch Trailing Lavender 5-10 days after transplanting to your final container. Pinch frequently to promote proper plant shape. Deadhead blooms to encourage fresh flowering.
