BAREROOT PLANT
Heuchera sanguinea ‘Ruby Bells’ is a gorgeous mound of medium green foliage with panicles of fragrant ruby red flowers. This easy-to-grow beauty attracts hummingbirds and butterflies to the garden. ‘Ruby Bells’ is clump-forming, making it an excellent perennial for borders, pathways, and rock gardens, in addition to woodland gardens. It may also be grown in containers for a low-maintenance container garden.
- Excellent for containers
- Attracts hummingbirds and butterflies
- Easy to grow
Planting Instructions: Choose a location with rich, well-draining evenly moist soil. Once established, Heuchera are somewhat drought tolerant in the shade. Soak bare root for 12 to 18 hours to moisten root prior to planting. Loosen the soil and dig a hole deep enough so the roots may spread out and the crown will sit just below the soil surface. Place root in the hole and backfill to the soil surface. Water thoroughly and regularly. Heuchera may be divided every 2 to 3 years in the fall.
