Mexican Petunia White (Ruellia Brittoniana )Ā - This low growing, dwarf ruellia produce multiple stemmed clumps with elongated foliage funnel shaped white flowers. This ruellia makes an excellent spring, summer, and fall ground cover and blooms over an extended period. Plants die back to the ground at the first frost, but normally return unless there are severe freezes. This ruellia is a prolific self-seeder. Also called desert petunia.
Very adaptable and low-maintenance Southern Star Ruellia tolerates both wet and dry conditions. A great product to expand Southern perennial programs; can be used as an in-ground or container annual in other regions, but is not recommended for the far North.
