Daikon Radish - Mino Early
daikon radish, giant white radish, Japanese radish, long white radish, oriental radish Mino Early is a leading open pollinated radish (daikon) for summer to fall harvest in Japan. It has good heat tolerance and can be grown all year round in tropical areas. The tapered root is long, white, tender and crisp with a mild pungency. Harvest when 14-16" long and weighing 1.75 lbs. Description
Mino Early is a long-time favorite of Japanese Daikon radish. This variety is widely planted in Japan from late summer through fall. Plants mature 40 days after sowing. The root is 18-24 inches long, pure white and slightly tapered. White flesh is very crispy and tender with mild pungency.
