Vegetable: 30 SEEDS

This Asian vegetable, Alpine Korean Radishes SEEDS, is known for its exceptional flavor and is commonly used in traditional Korean dishes.

Korean radish, also known as Mu or Moo in Korean, is native to the Korean Peninsula and is grown in various Asian countries like China and Japan, thriving in cool, temperate climates.

Korean radishes are large, pale, cylindrical root vegetables with a mild, sweet flavor and crisp flesh.

Key ingredient in Korean cuisine, used in kimchi, side dishes, salads, and soups. Sweetness and crisp texture provide contrast to spicy flavors.

How to Grow  Radishes

Find a sunny location with good soil, and use a shovel or hoe to loosen soil as deep as possible to help radishes grow straight. Plant seeds beginning in late summer until early fall. Water as needed and fertilize as recommended. Untreated seed available.

Harvesting Korean Radishes

Harvesting radishes is a simple process. Once your plants are mature, grab the stems as close to the ground as possible and pull. The roots should come free from the dirt without too much difficulty. Avoid pulling at an angle to help keep plants from breaking.

If your radish tops break off or if the roots won’t come free, loosen the soil around the plants with a shovel or dig up completely.
