Planting Instructions

• Plant in fall for late spring blooms.
• Choose a full sun site with well-draining soil. Poor drainage leads to bulb rot — amend with compost or peat moss if needed.
• Plant bulbs 4" deep and 3" apart, pointed end up. Planting at least 4" deep prevents bulb splitting and encourages reliable reblooming.
• Water well after planting to settle the soil.
• In warmer climates, foliage emerges in fall; flowers follow in spring. In colder regions, both emerge after winter ends.

After Bloom Care

• Cut flowers freely for bold, elegant spring bouquets.
• Leave foliage in place after blooming — it recharges bulbs for next season.
• Water about 1" per week during active growth.
• Allow leaves to yellow and die back naturally in summer, then remove spent foliage.
