Planting Guide
Soil: Any well-drained soil. Daylilies are not particular about soil conditions and perform well in a wide range of sites.
Planting: Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant so the crown (where roots meet stem) is 1–2 inches below the soil surface. Backfill and water thoroughly.
Light: Full sun to partial shade. Sun-loving perennials benefit from at least 6 hours of direct sun daily for best flowering — more sun generally equals more bloom.
Care Guide
Once established, daylilies require minimal care. Water regularly during the first growing season; established plants are heat and drought tolerant. Divide clumps in spring or fall when plants become overcrowded. Daylilies multiply freely and are easy to split and share.
