The fragrant Crinum x powellii (Swamp Lily) features a lovely scent. This bulbous perennial produces clusters of 8-10 trumpet-shaped, light pink blossoms, each measuring 5 inches wide (12 cm). From late summer to fall, these stunning flowers emerge in succession, contrasting against the clump of bright green, strap-shaped leaves.

Cape lilies, also known as swamp lilies, grow from big, amaryllis-like bulbs. They are hardy perennials in the southern U.S. and can be grown in containers in colder climates. Crinum powellii has long, strappy leaves and fragrant, bright pink flowers. The plants bloom on and off from early through late summer and are rarely bothered by deer.

    • Fragrant
    • Deer Won't Eat
    • Thrives in Gardens or Containers

Excellent plant for containers which can then be easily lifted in northern climates where they may not survive the winter if left unprotected.
