Amish Paste Tomato ~ Heirloom-From The Amish Here In Pennsylvania

Amish Paste Organic Heirloom Excellent tomato for sauces! Amish Paste is the juiciest meatiest paste or Roma type tomato I’ve ever grown. It’s a great fresh eating tomato and not as thick-skinned as most paste tomatoes. I found no need to skin them when I made sauce.

From The  Amish Here In Pennsylvania , a large, meaty, bright red heirloom with superior taste, a nice balance of sweet and acid. Excellent fresh or in sauces. Certified Organic Seed. Organic Amish Paste Tomato - HEIRLOOM Versatile, flavorful, juicy enough for slicing, but meaty enough for cooking down. It has few seeds (can make sauces and pastes bitter.) Heart-shaped, bright fruits are 8-12 oz. Ripens to a sweeter taste than other paste tomatoes.

Planting :Vegetable Planting: Sow seeds indoors before last frost. Plant seeds about 1/4” under soil surface, then transplant seedlings to garden with 30” - 36” between plants. Vegetable Seed Saving: Allow tomatoes to over-ripen on plants then collect seeds. Let seeds ferment in the tomato. Clean and dry the seeds before storage in cool dry conditions.
