The medium-small, 3-5 lb., fruits have deep-orange, fiberless flesh with a rich, sweet flavor. A northern New England favorite. Avg. yield: 3-4 fruits/plant. Organically grown. Avg. 2,700 seeds/lb. Packet: 30 seeds.
Dark green fruits with golden orange, stringless flesh and sweet, rich flavor A long-time New England favorite! Typically produces 10-12 fruits per plant, with vines reaching 15â long. Our improved strain has a high percentage of clean, non-warty, and uniform squash. Fruits have a gray button on the blossom end. Uniform fruits ⢠Large, prolific vines ⢠3-5 lbs. (Cucurbita maxima)

FROM TRANSPLANTS:
Sow 2-3 seeds in 2" containers or plug trays 3 weeks before transplanting outdoors. Thin to 1-2 plants/cell with scissors. Transplant after frost danger when weather is warm and settled, about 18" apart for bush and small-fruited varieties, and 24-36" apart for large-fruited varieties. Take care not to disturb roots! Plastic mulch and fabric row covers will help plant establishment and exclude insect pests.completely. Store the seeds in a cool, dry place for up to 4 years.
