Easy-to-grow herbaceous perennials for gardens. Borders. Edging. Mass over large areas or grow in clumps. Dwarf cultivars are excellent in rock gardens.

Purple D'Oro' is a diploid cultivar which features 2.75-inch diameter reddish-purple flowers with ruffled edges and yellowish throats. Flower is classified as a miniature. Flowers appear on naked stems (scapes) which typically rise to 24" tall above a clump of arching, linear, blade-like leaves. Individual flowers open for one day. Repeat blooms throughout the growing season, typically from May through summer. This is a purple-flowered version of the popular yellow-flowered 'Stella D'Oro.'

Disease-free perennial is excellent for slopes, massing, edgings and foundations. Showy, sweet smelling, lemon-yellow, 5-inch blooms. Large clumps of long, grass-like leaves are highlighted by lily-like flowers on tall stems. Herbaceous perennial.

The Daylily is a basic for any garden, requiring minimal care. This perennial grows almost anywhere and is not particular about the soil conditions. They can be used for borders, groups or naturalizing. Daylilies are clump-forming and multiply freely.

Planting Instructions: May be planted in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to encompass the roots without bending or circling. Set the plant in place so the crown (part of the plant where the root meets the stem) is about 1-2 inches below the soil surface. Cover with soil to the original soil surface and water thoroughly.
