Red Giant.' True to its name, the large leaves are up to 18 inches tall with a beautiful reddish bronze color and reddish purple veins. It's ready to harvest for baby greens in about 3 weeks and reaches full size in 35 to 45 days.

Sowing: Plant mustard greens in cool weather for best taste. Sow seeds 4 weeks before last frost, 10-12" apart in full sun and rich soil. Thin seedlings to 5-6" apart. For continual harvest, plant every 10-14 days. For fall planting, sow 10 weeks before first frost in late summer or early fall. Warmer climates can grow mustard from fall to spring.

Growing: Ensure the plants are adequately watered and kept free from invasive plants. A generous application of mulch will aid in preserving moisture, managing weeds, and maintaining clean greens. Garnet Mustard Seeds-Japanese Giant is known for its resilience during winter and its ability to resist premature flowering.

Harvesting: Harvest baby greens when 4-5 inches tall. Entire plant or leaves can be picked continuously. Cook mature leaves for best flavor. Avoid yellow leaves. Refrigerate for 3-4 days or freeze after blanching.

Culinary tips: Garnet Mustard Seeds are versatile, suitable for harvesting at any stage - from micro-greens to baby leaf for salads and sandwiches. Additionally, they can be used in floral arrangements and for producing seed pods. These seeds have the potential to produce mature leaves that are perfect for pickling, cooking, and juicing.
