Lilium Sorbonne (Lilium hybrid) features large flowers of soft pink with a white margin and dark pink spots. A tall growing variety, this Oriental Lilium is an old favourite as it bears many large fragrant flowers per stem.
Oriental Lilies are tall, beautiful and highly fragrant making them a must for a summer garden full of colour. With beautiful flowers in various shades of pink and white, pure white, gold and white, and crimson, these bulbs produce five to six large blooms per stem with an intense sweet fragrance.
Liliums require a well drained soil; heavy or clay soils are completely unsuitable as the bulbs will run the risk of rotting. Protection from strong winds is recommended as their stems and flowers are easily damaged. Liliums prefers a full sun position and are ideal for growing in pots and containers. For best results always use a potting mix for bulbs and be sure to fertilise on a regualr basis.

Oriental lilies are available in a wide variety of plant sizes and bloom colors. They grow from bulbs which should be planted in the spring or fall. The bulbs do not go dormant and should not be stored. Select and prepare the planting site before purchasing the bulbs so they can be planted right away. When planted properly, they will provide bright colorful blooms for weeks every summer with minimal care
