Senecio (also called Tropical German Ivy) is a soft ivy and is not winter hardy like Hedera Helix Ivy, but it grows much faster and makes a great houseplant. Tropical German Ivy will fill pots with rich, evergreen foliage. They work well in combination planters as cascading edge plants, as a standalone container or basket, or as a trellis/fence climber.
The Senecio Tropical German Ivy is an ideal choice for both indoor and outdoor use. Grown in beautiful shades of silver and green, this ivy will bring a vibrant splash of color to any space. Its hardy and easy-to-care-for nature makes it an ideal choice for novice plant owners.
- We recommend planting 4-5 starter plants per 10 inch basket. Use a well-drained soil in your baskets and plant your starter plants deep, allowing the elpot to be completely covered by the soil. If you are planting 4" pots, 1 plant per pot should be sufficient. Plant it directly in the middle of your pot.

Best in fertile, well-drained soil. Keep soil moist, watering freely in dry weather. Apply a balanced liquid fertilizer monthly. Trim back as needed to keep neat and compact.
