Euphorbia marginata 'Early Snow' ā Snow on the Mountain ā is a bold and elegant late-season annual grown for its striking white-and-green variegated foliage rather than its modest white-cupped flowers. Pure white bracts contrast vividly with the green foliage, and the variegation intensifies as days shorten in late summer and fall ā exactly when the garden needs an infusion of fresh, architectural color. Strong stems and a long vase life make it an outstanding filler for late-season bouquets, especially when paired with dahlias, mums, and asters. Note that cut stems should be seared before placing in water to allow proper uptake. Drought resistant; adapts to most soil types.
Avg. 1,350 seeds per oz. | 50 seeds per packet.

Growing Guide
Direct sowing (recommended): Sow directly outdoors once soil temperatures have warmed in spring. Cover seeds lightly with vermiculite, sand, or substrate after sowing ā this variety requires darkness to germinate. Keep soil slightly moist but not wet. Germination in 20ā30 days at 70°F.
Site & soil: Full sun to partial shade; not particular about soil type, pH 5.5ā7.0. Prefers full sun and mesic to dry conditions, but adapts to slightly moist soil if drainage is present. Space 24 inches apart.
Cut flower use: Immediately after cutting, sear the stem end with a flame or dip in boiling water for a few seconds before placing in water. This seals the latex sap and allows the stem to draw water properly.
ā ļø Caution: The white latex sap can cause skin and eye irritation. Wear gloves when handling and keep away from children and pets.
