PLANTING

Strawberry plants grow best in sunny or partially shaded areas with moist, well-drained soil. Make sure to use rich fertilizers such as compost or aged manure and maintain a pH level between 6.5-6.8. Prepare beds in advance to prevent unwanted weeds.

Berry plants typically arrive as bare root, but may occasionally be available as plant starts. Store starts in a cool, well-lit area and keep roots moist until ready for planting.
