Large White Blooms for Indoor Color

White amaryllis bulbs produce showy white flowers with a green touch at the throat, creating a striking display in indoor pots. Place a planted bulb in a bright room and watch its flower stalk develop into a centerpiece for your home or a thoughtful growing gift.

What You Receive

  • Options: 1 bulb or 3 bulbs, according to your selection.
  • Bulb grade: 28/30 cm circumference, not diameter or plant height.
  • Flower color: White with green accents.
  • Product: Bulbs for planting, not an already flowering plant. A pot and planting medium are not included unless separately stated.
  • Typical indoor use: Flowering pots and cut-flower displays.

Flower and stem counts vary with bulb condition and growing conditions; a particular number is not guaranteed. The previous listing contained conflicting cultivar references, so no specific cultivar is promised here.

Potting Your Bulb

  • Choose a sturdy pot with drainage holes and only a little space around the bulb.
  • Use a fresh, well-draining potting mix.
  • Set the bulb with its neck and upper portion above the soil surface, firming the mix gently around the roots.
  • Water lightly after planting and keep excess water from collecting in a saucer.

Indoor Growing Care

Provide bright light and a warm room, around 72°F during active growth. Water sparingly until growth begins, then water when the top of the mix starts to dry. Avoid soggy soil and pouring water into the bulb neck. Rotate the pot as needed for balanced growth and support heavy flower stalks if necessary.

The earlier listing estimated flowering at approximately 5–6 weeks under favorable forcing conditions. Actual timing varies with bulb preparation, temperature, and growth stage on arrival, so blooms cannot be promised for a particular holiday or date.

After Flowering

Remove spent flowers, then cut back the flower stalk when blooming has finished without damaging the leaves. Keep healthy foliage in bright light, continue appropriate watering, and feed according to the label of a fertilizer suitable for flowering bulbs. Leaves replenish the bulb for a possible future flowering cycle.

Repeat flowering requires suitable ongoing care and a rest period; it is not guaranteed. Protect bulbs from frost. Outdoor suitability depends on local winter temperatures and drainage, so check local guidance before leaving bulbs outside year-round.

Arrival and Safety

Unpack promptly and keep unplanted bulbs cool, dry, and ventilated until potting. Inspect for deterioration and do not leave bulbs in wet packaging.

Ornamental use only. Do not eat. Amaryllis is harmful if ingested, especially the bulb. Keep bulbs and plants away from children and pets, and wash hands after handling.
