Also known as LIATRIS Spicata, Butterfly Plant, and Flower Bulbs Perennial.Highly long and narrow grass-like foliage with small basal leaves that become smaller as the stalks rise. Topped by thick wand-like inflorescences of white florets that bloom for 3-4 weeks in early summer. Mature into fluffy golden brown achenes. Plants typically 2.5-3' tall with a 1' spread.

As such, it may be necessary to stake the plants in areas with rich soil, shade, or excessive moisture to prevent them from flopping.
This variety may self-sow. If this is an issue, deadhead after flowering before seed mature.
