Freddy BLUE ORNAMENTAL GRASS (LIVE PLANT) is a European native, scientifically known as Festuca Freddy, Festuca glauca, or Festina cinerea, offering a compact, evergreen foliage that is blue-green in color. With a tidy habit and reaching 8-16" in height and width, this cultivar has tall, light tan spikelets. In zones 4-8, it can withstand heat, humidity, and drought. Its versatility makes it ideal for landscape beds, rock gardens, borders, or as an accent plant or ground cover. This deer and rabbit-resistant plant requires little maintenance and thrives in full sun with minimal watering, providing year-round color.

1 Space plants 46-61" apart in well-drained soil in full or partial sun.

2. Water once or twice a week or more in dry weather.

3. In climates colder than zone 6, remove plants after frost or overwinter containers in a protected area.
