Grow green lentils at home with this cool-season crop. The seeds are grown and hand-packed in the USA, with approximately 750 seeds per ounce.

Growing information

  • Sow in spring as a cool-season crop.
  • Choose a sunny site with loose, well-drained soil.
  • Lentil plants are annuals and finish as summer heat arrives.

Harvesting and drying

Harvest when the pods rattle, before they split open. Cut or pull the plants and dry them on a tarp for about a week. Then thresh and winnow to collect the lentils.
