Assam is a productive heirloom hot pepper from India with slender, 3¼-inch-long pods that ripen from green to vivid red. Thin-walled with good heat, this organically grown variety is ideal for drying, hot sauce, and traditional Indian cooking. Open-pollinated and true to type — save seeds each season.
