Warm season annual. Even though particularly good for pickling because of early, abundant seed production, Bouquet foliage also is delicious sprinkled on potatoes, tomatoes, salmon, spinach, cucumbers and lamb chops. 30" - 36" tall, and very aromatic. Dill is an important host plant for caterpillars of swallowtail butterflies.
Used in egg, fish, with potatoes and in pickling, the big-flowering Bouquet Dill is a versatile pick in your garden. Hints of parsley and caraway. Big, yellow flowerhead and luscious, feathery green stems make this an unmistakable herb. Great for container gardening or out in the open, this dill seed will not disappoint.
The Bouquet Dill is an annual and should be planted in the springtime. This herb requires full sun exposure. Direct sow. Plant seeds a fourth of an inch deep and space every eighteen inches. Forty to sixty days until mature. This is a self-seeding bush variety. Plant every eight to ten days for a continuous harvest.
