Carex comans, also known as Leatherleaf Sedge or Carex Colorgrass Bronco, is a professional-grade, evergreen ornamental grass native to New Zealand. This mounded arching plant, developed by PanAmerican, boasts bronze-brown fine-textured foliage and reaches a height of 6-12" with a width of 14". Flourishing in full sun, this versatile plant can be used in combination containers, borders, and landscape beds with minimal maintenance and regular watering. In zones 6-10, Carex Colorgrass Bronco adds texture and contrast to any garden, making it a must-have for any experienced gardener.

1 Space plants 14" apart in well-drained soil in full sun.

2. Water occasionally or more in dry weather.

3. In climates colder than zone 6, remove plants after frost or overwinter containers in a protected area.
