Planting Guide
Planting: Plant in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole to accommodate roots without bending or circling. Set the crown 1–2 inches below the soil surface. Backfill and water thoroughly immediately after planting.
Watering: Prefer deep watering once per week over daily light watering. Keep from drying out; avoid waterlogged conditions.
Seasonal care: Remove spent blooms and dead foliage as needed. In late fall, cut foliage to ground level and mulch the root zone. In colder climates, spring planting is preferred. Avoid planting July–September in the South during high heat and humidity above 90°F.
