100-109 Days to maturity. Annual, hot-type pepper with mild heat levels. 500-1,500 Scoville Heat Units. Can be used for dried pepper, flakes, fresh eating, and pickling. Best grown in a garden, raised bed, or greenhouse. Careful with watering to prevent splitting or cracking. Non-GMO hybrid.
Start seeds inside 6 weeks before last frost date (or 8 weeks before expected transplanting date). Soil should be kept warm until emergence. Avoid planting in cool soil or too early to avoid impacting plant strength. Carefully transition plants before transplanting. Use fertile, well-drained soil and transplant in late spring/summer (soil temperatures above 60°F) in a warm, sunny area. Fertilize as necessary, but avoid excess nitrogen to prevent an overgrowth of leaves and fewer fruits.
