Size: 1 plant
  • Appearance: 'Plum Dazzled' boasts deep, dusky purple, succulent foliage throughout the season, which is even evergreen in milder climates. In late summer, it features large clusters of pink star-shaped flowers that bloom over short, upright stems, adding a layer of rich color. Its dense, mounding form makes it an excellent groundcover.
  • Size: It typically grows to a height of 8 inches and spreads up to 18 inches wide.

Sedum  is recommended for the following landscape applications:

• Rock/Alpine Gardens
• Mass Planting
• Border Edging
• Ground-cover
• General Garden Use
• Container Planting

    • Flowers: In late summer and early fall, the plant is topped with stunning raspberry-pink flower clusters, ranging in diameter from 6 to 9 inches. These blooms provide color for up to two months, attracting pollinators like butterflies and bees.
  • Growing Conditions:
    • Sunlight: Prefers full sun (at least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day), but tolerates some light shade, especially in hotter climates like Zone 9.
    • Soil: Thrives in average, dry to medium, well-drained soils. Avoid wet or poorly drained conditions, as this can lead to rot. It tolerates poor and sandy soil conditions, making it suitable for difficult-to-plant areas.
    • Watering: Water regularly during the first season to establish the plant. After that, it is very drought tolerant and requires infrequent watering, mainly during extended dry periods.
  • Hardiness:
    • Zones: Hardy in USDA zones 4 through 9.
    • Tolerance: Resistant to heat, drought, cold, humidity, and pests, including deer and rabbits. It's even considered evergreen in areas with mild winters.
