Viola Cornuta- Seed
Violas can't be beat for bringing cool season color to flower beds and patio containers. They are started indoors in winter for planting out in earliest spring. In relatively mild winter areas (zones 6 and above) they can also be started in summer and planted out in fall.Grows 6-8 inches tall.
Viola Cornuta (Viola Cornuta White Perfection) - Grow these treasured favorites from Viola seeds, and enjoy their sweet charm in your flower garden. Viola cornuta, is often referred to as Horned Violet or Tufted Pansy, and they are valued by gardeners all over. This one is a dazzling pure white color with a light, delicate scent. White Violas are often used in flower beds, borders and as ground cover, and they work nicely in hanging baskets and other attractive containers. Growing Violas from seed is a great way to ensure that you'll have plenty of plants for both spring and fall. Sow the flower seeds in early April for spring flowering and again in July for fall blooms. Cover the Viola seeds lightly and keep moist until germination occurs. Thin the Viola seedlings to 8 inches apart.
