Let some light into your spring woodland garden with the Wood Poppy (or Golden Poppy) with its lemon-yellow flowers! Blue-green foliage and fuzzy seedpods complete the package with this precious little ephemeral plant. It re-seeds itself but is never unwelcome or invasive. This plant has been a huge hit with our customers –if you don’t have wood poppies, you definitely need one! 2″ yellow blossoms, dark green, divided leaves.

Wood Poppy is a handsome perennial with bluish-green lobed leaves. The plant forms 18″ clumps. From March to May, clusters of bright yellow, 2-inch buttercup-like flowers appear and are followed by nodding green hairy pods. Naturalize in shaded areas of woodland, shade, wildflower or native plant gardens. This poppy is good for beginners.
