Size: 10 Bulbs

Anemone de Caen The Bride is a very nice pure white Anemone with big blooms. It is also very popular as a cut-flower, but don't underestimate the beauty it will bring in the garden. Anemone thrive best in a dry and warm spot and they will reward you once in bloom! You can plant Anemone bulbs in the Fall for Spring blooming, or plant them in the late winter for Summer blooming.

This beautiful variety will grow to a compact height of 30cm, making it perfect for planting in your borders, patio pots and containers. The dense foliage will produce a lush carpet that can be used as ground cover. 5/6cm bulbs supplied.

Garden care: Soak the tubers overnight in cool water and plant them in naturalistic drifts (it doesn't matter which way up) 5cm deep and 15cm apart from September to November. Ideally you should choose a spot where they can be left undisturbed so they can naturalise and spread.
Easy to grow. These attractive low growing plants can quickly spread to form large clumps.
Ideal for gently shaded areas. Can be grown in containers, in short grass, raised beds, rock gardens or as under-planting for deciduous shrubs and trees. Ideal companion for dwarf narcissus.
Plant corms in autumn 3-4in (8-10cm) deep and 15cm (6in) apart. Soak corms in water before planting.
Taking Care of Anemone blanda
Mulch over in autumn. In colder areas the corms can be lifted in autumn and stored over-winter in a frost-free spot.
Note: The leaves die back a few weeks after flowering and the roots creep along close to the surface, therefore be sure to mark or label the growing position of naturalised plantings, so that they are not disturbed or accidentally dug-up later in the season.
Propagating Anemone blanda
Plant new corms in the autumn or lift and divide mature clumps in June or July.
