CUSHION PLANT
cushion plant is a plant which has adapted to a harsh environment by growing slowly, producing a dense, matted pile of plant material which grows close to the ground, insulating the plant from hostile conditions. Cushion plants can be found all over the world, and they are represented in a wide variety of plant families
Seeds need light for germination. Sow the seeds on the surface, but do not cover the flower seeds
Seeds can be sown at any time but are best sown in winter or early spring to benefit from a cold spell in the wet compost to break their dormancy. We advise covering seeds very thinly with sand or fine grit to about the depth of the seed size.
