BROCCLI ,is in the cabbage family with broccoli, cauliflower, and Brussels sprouts. Every part of the plant can be eaten. Like its close relatives it is a cool weather crop . For spring crop plant inside 8 weeks before last frost date and transplant when six weeks old.

 It can be eaten raw in salads or used alongside dips like hummus. It can also be cooked and used in soups, side dishes or entrees alongside protein staples like beef. Broccoli is also delicious when roasted with olive oil and garlic. No matter how you choose to enjoy it, broccoli is a vegetable that should definitely be a part of your diet.
