Planting Guide

Planting: Plant in any well-drained soil. Dig a hole large enough to accommodate roots without bending or circling. Set the crown 1–2 inches below the soil surface. Backfill and water thoroughly immediately after planting.

Watering: Water immediately after planting. Prefer deep watering once per week over daily light watering. Avoid waterlogged conditions.

Seasonal care: Remove spent blooms and dead foliage as needed. In late fall, cut foliage to ground level and mulch the root zone. In colder climates, spring planting is recommended. In the South, plant early spring or very late fall; avoid July–September when heat and humidity exceed 90°F.
