Heshiko is a prized Japanese heirloom bunching onion — a non-bulbing, perennial scallion type that produces long, tender green leaves and 12–14" white, pungent stalks with a rich, savory onion flavor. Unlike most scallions, Heshiko divides at its base, creating clusters of new shoots and making it an exceptionally productive, long-lived plant for any garden or container. It overwinters reliably and is both cold-tolerant and drought-tolerant once established.

Growing Instructions
