Triton Purple Radish – Microgreens & Sprouts (Raphanus sativus)
Triton Purple Radish was developed specifically for microgreen and sprouting production — and it excels at both. It produces eye-catching light purplish-red stems with bright green cotyledons that look as gorgeous on a plate as they taste. Flavor-wise, Triton carries all the bold, peppery bite of a full-grown radish — with a touch more spice than comparable varieties like Hong Vit. Ready to harvest in just 6–10 days, it’s one of the most rewarding and fastest microgreens you can grow, year-round.
In Asia, radish sprouts are a staple garnish and salad ingredient known under many regional names: kaiware in Japan, moo/mu in Korea, lo bok in China. Use Triton Purple microgreens in salads, soups, sushi, and sashimi presentations for a vibrant pop of color and sharp, gourmet flavor.
