IF YOU ARE looking for low-maintenance groundcover or a cheerful trailing flower for windowboxes, borders, rock gardens, or mixed containers. Golden Globes has many benefits to offer in a landscape application, especially as groundcover. Its spreading nature will create a full mat in small areas where it is planted. Each plant will spread to be 18-24 inches wide. Small red-throated yellow flowers bloom in clusters May-July and Golden Globes Loosestrife is evergreen in mild winter climates. It does well in full sun to partial shade and does not require fertilizing. It is not affected by any major pests and it attracts pollinators.

Lysimachia Procumbens Golden Globes (also known as Golden Globes Loosestrife) is a member of the Primrose family that is native to China. Golden Globes is a perennial most often used for groundcover. Its short, spreading habit also makes it a good choice for mixed containers, window boxes, border fronts, and rock gardens. Golden Globes is moisture tolerant and its red-throated yellow flowers bloom May-July. In areas where temperatures remain above 15? in winter, Golden Globes is evergreen. It attracts pollinators and when planted in well-drained soil rich with organic matter, it will flourish with very little maintenance.

Set the plant in the hole. Push the soil gently around the roots filling in empty space around the root ball. Firm the soil down around the plant by hand, tamping with the flat side of a small trowel, or even by pressing down on the soil by foot.
