Indoor Forcing Guide

Fill the ceramic pot halfway with potting mix. Place bulbs on the soil with pointed tips up, then cover with remaining potting mix so bulb noses sit just below the surface. Place in a dark, cool location (40–50°F) and check weekly, watering lightly. After approximately 10 weeks, when buds are 2–4 inches tall and roots are visible through drainage holes, move the pot to a cool room (60–65°F) with indirect light. Once bud color is visible, display in your desired room in indirect light, keeping soil moist. Moving the pot to a cooler room overnight extends bloom life. After blooming, plant bulbs outdoors to enjoy for years.
