Muscari latifolium is one of the most distinctive and sought-after Grape Hyacinth species — immediately recognizable by its spectacular two-toned flower spikes, with deep violet-purple lower bells and soft pale blue upper bells on each stem. The contrast between the two shades is vivid and eye-catching, creating a uniquely layered look that sets this species apart from all other Muscari. Each flower has a delicate thin white rim on each bell, adding a refined finishing detail. Low-growing at 6–9 inches and wonderfully fragrant, it's deer-resistant, tolerates clay soil, and naturalizes readily in full sun or part shade with minimal care.
Why Gardeners Love It

- Thrives in full sun to part shade — highly versatile

Planting & Care
Plant bulbs pointed tip up in well-drained soil in fall. Keep soil moist during the spring growing season but reduce watering once foliage begins to die back. Allow foliage to die back naturally to feed the bulb for next year. Naturalizes readily — leave undisturbed for expanding drifts of color.
