This variety, known as Kyoto No. 3, is a robust napa cabbage that can reach up to 7 pounds in weight when mature, despite only growing to about a foot tall. It takes approximately 80 days from sowing for the barrel-shaped heads to form, but the wait is worth it for the large and crunchy leaves with a subtle sweetness and vibrant green color.
