Pre-Columbian Citrus Brilliance — Bright, Zesty & Genuinely Hot
Lemon Drop Pepper (Capsicum baccatum), known in Peru as Aji Limon or Aji Lemondrop, is one of the most flavorful Andean peppers — a pre-Columbian variety with bright yellow fruits and a distinctive citrus flavor that immediately brings to mind lemons, limes, and citron. The citrusy brightness counterbalances its bold heat, making it exceptional in salsas, ceviches, and hot sauces.
