Antirrhinum majus 'Tetra Mix' is a semi-dwarf snapdragon producing large, showy two-lipped blooms in shades of pink, purple, red, yellow, and white — a classic in cottage and cutting gardens alike. Millions of snapdragons are grown in greenhouses for florists each year, and it's easy to see why: the bold, long-lasting flower spikes are stunning in beds, borders, and bouquets. Native to the Mediterranean, snapdragons are cool-season performers that thrive in spring and fall and make outstanding long-lasting cut flowers. Approx. 213,000 seeds per lb.

Growing Guide
Starting indoors: Sow 6–8 weeks before the last frost. Surface-sow on pre-moistened starter mix and press gently — do not cover; seeds need light to germinate. Harden off for 10–14 days before transplanting outdoors. Pinch back at transplant time to encourage branching.
Direct sowing (mild winters): Sow in a sheltered seedbed in late summer; transplant young plants into their permanent location for winter and spring blooms.
Site and soil: Full sun; rich, well-drained soil. Space 12–18 inches apart. In hot climates, provide afternoon shade. Trim spent spikes promptly to encourage a second flush of blooms.
