plant, especially when used in shaded areas as accents or borders. The Splash series of hypoestes has high germination seed that grows quickly in to mature plants with more color contrast than other hypoestes plants. 

Grow as a perennial house plant or an annual outdoor plant in zones 3 - 8. May grow as a perennial in USDA zone 9.
