No garden is complete without this onion!
This Red Grano onion is a versatile, all-purpose choice for cooking and eating. Its medium size, red color, and crisp texture make it a popular option for grilling and topping hamburgers. It is a short-day onion that grows best south of the Kansas/Oklahoma line and can be planted in several intervals. The final crop can even remain in the ground throughout the winter season.

- 4 oz - Approximately 33,600 Seeds
- 1 lb - Approximately 134,400 Seeds
Sowing: Plant Red Grano onion seeds in light, rich soil and full sun for optimal growth. Can be planted indoors and transplanted 4 weeks before the last frost, or directly sown and thinned to desired size. For companion planting, choose cabbage family, lettuce, or tomatoes as partners.
Growing: Moisture is crucial for onions during their initial growth period, and controlling weeds can be challenging. Consider using mulch to address both issues effectively.
Harvesting: Harvest the onions after the tops turn yellow and allow them to cure in the sun for a week before trimming and storing in a cool, dry place.
