Compact, attractive habit with jagged spear-shaped dark green foliage. An easy-to-grow perennial that works beautifully as a cut flower, border accent, and mass planting. Ships as a live plant.

Planting Guide

Soil: Any well-drained soil. Shasta Daisies perform well in average garden conditions; excellent drainage is important to prevent crown rot.

Planting: Dig a hole large enough to hold the roots without crowding or bending. Set the crown (where roots meet stem) 1–2 inches below the soil surface. Backfill with soil and water thoroughly.

Light: Full sun preferred for best flowering; tolerates partial shade.

Spacing: 18–24 inches apart; plants spread into clumps over time.

Care Guide

Water regularly during the first growing season to establish strong roots. Once established, Shasta Daisies are moderately drought tolerant. Deadhead spent blooms regularly to encourage continuous flowering. Divide clumps every 2–3 years in spring or fall to maintain vigor. Cut back to the ground in late fall or early spring.
