Tongues of Fire - BUSH BEANS

Tongues of Fire beans, or Borlotto Lingua di Fuoco, are a well-regarded heirloom variety prized for their distinctive look and rich taste. They are characterized by their vivid red and cream mottling on both the bean and the pod. These bush beans are popular for their versatility, being suitable for fresh eating, freezing, or canning. 

Plant in warm soil at least a couple weeks after the last danger of frost has passed. Sow directly in the ground at a depth of one inch, spaced every few inches in rows 12 inches apart. Thin to one plant every six inches.
