A Hungarian Immigrant’s Gift to Wisconsin — Mild, Thick-Walled & Perfect for Stuffing

Beaver Dam Pepper (Capsicum annuum) is an open-pollinated mild heirloom originally brought to Beaver Dam, Wisconsin by Hungarian immigrants — celebrated for its subtle sweetness, smoky undertone, and thick walls that make it outstanding for stuffing. Fruits grow 6–9 in long and mature to a rich reddish-orange in just 60 days.
