The 'Falconet' daffodil, scientifically named Narcissus tazetta 'Falconet', is a highly fragrant, multi-flowered cultivar. Awarded the Royal Horticultural Society's Award of Garden Merit, it is especially valued for its dependable flowering performance, even in warmer regions. It is a firm and resilient variety, making it an excellent cut flower.

  • When to plant: In the fall, after the soil has cooled but before the ground freezes.
  • Sunlight: Full sun or partial shade.
  • Planting depth: Plant bulbs 6 inches deep and 4–6 inches apart.
  • Soil requirements: Well-drained soil. It tolerates acidic, clay, loamy, and sandy soil.
  • Watering: Water regularly, allowing the soil to dry out slightly between waterings.
  • Post-blooming care: After the blooms fade, let the foliage die back naturally. The leaves provide nutrients to the bulb for next year's blooms.
